When I looked at this painting I saw more than just a cat. I identified many visual elements. I saw the texture of the fur. The different tones of color from gold to brown. The line of whiskers. The shape of the teeth and the mouth. This painting of a wildcat delivers a strong attraction to the viewer. Also what I noticed was the paint drippings running down the image. I don't know if it was part of the picture, but I thought it gave it a more fierce meaning.
